Time is a crucial element in history. Time is life, time wasted is life wasted and must be accounted for, time brings opportunities, unused time is unused opportunities, everything in life answers to time, failures, successes, accomplishments and regrets occurs in time.

The biggest waste of time and life is for corps members to spend years accomplishing something that could have been achieved in only few weeks by following the practical, proven process of the skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development (SAED) during the twenty one days in camp.

SEAD helps to activate the creative mind of corp members, certificate is great but is not enough. It was never taught in schools how to bake cake, rather cake were baked, before it was taught in school, It was never taught in school how to manufacture cars, Internet, etc rather they were discovered by great minds before it was added to school curriculum. All you were taught in school is what have been discovered by others, SAED is with the goal to help you realise your potential so it can be added to the curriculum of the school as well.

HIGHLIGHTS OF SAED EXHIBITION (2019 BATCH A)


The beauty of the event, was, creative minds that cut across different fields of education were involved, that's the joy of SAED, a novice in a particular field was trained and able to participate in the SAED competition. The most amazing part is that many innovative ideas were made visible to the eyes and tangible to the hand.

Some of the SAED group who showcased
 their skills include:


CREATIVE WRITING : a drama skit was written and acted on stage.

ICT: Creation and exhibitions of beautiful cover page containing NYSC logo were made within few minutes.

BEADWORK : varieties of designs and color of beads was produced rights in the SEAD exhibition.

LEATHER WORK : Bags, Shoes were made from leathers by corps members within a short period of training.

PHOTOGRAHPHY: corps members trained during the SAED program, covered the SAED exhibition event.

ANKARA DESIGN: This completely caught my attention, akara was used to design shoes, bags and purse instead of leather.

FASHION AND DESIGNING: Clothing materials were transformed into beautiful dresses by  young SEAD students within 2 hours.

Paint production, Food processing and preservation, make up, L. E. D light, poultry, etc.
