                    Beans and Plantain (Recipe)

    Beans and plantain is a meal that is highly nutritious, cheap and easy to prepare, it contains major nutritional essential, like protein, carbohydrate, minerals and vitamins. It is also a very nice combo for lunch or dinner because it is very delicious.

                 Ingredients

    -   3 cups of beans

    -   4 pieces of plantain

    -   Red oil

    -   1 bulb of Onion

    -  2 cubes of Maggi

    -   Half teaspoon of salt

    -   Ground crayfish

    -   Grinded Pepper



                         Instructions:

    1.  Sort the beans by picking.

    2. Put 2 cups of water in a pot to boil.

    3. Pour your already picked beans into the boiling water.

    4. Parboil the beans.

    5. Sieve out the water.

    6. Pour two cooking spoons of red oil into the pot.

    7. Add chopped onions.

    8. Add two cubes of Maggi

    9. Add salt

    10. Add two table spoon of Crayfish

    11. A teaspoon of pepper

    12. Add diced plantain

    13. Stir and allow to cook for 5 minutes

    14. Add the cooked beans into the pot

    15. Stir mixture properly

    16. Serve and enjoy
