Everybody loves to use jewelry for fashion and admiration. When I am talking about jewelry I mean real gold to be precise. Have you ever imagined a gold freak suddenly changing her love for gold? Yes it is possible.

Many people tends to buy gold from jewelry shops and end up buying fake products because not everyone can identify real gold from the fake.

Let me introduce you to ways in which fake gold can be spotted.

Basically, there are two way to identify real gold. A real gold can easily be identified by the use of magnet. How? Using a magnet on the product you intend to buy, you can achieve this by making close contact with the jewelry. If the magnet does not attract the jewelry, congratulations! It is real, because gold does not attract magnet but a gold plated does.

Also, the second, is making use of a chemical called nitric acid to test the jewelry and this is achieved by pouring little of the chemical on a small portion of the jewelry, once it turns green, then it is not real.

These are the two ways to spot a fake jewelry.

In conclusion, we can only provide the mentioned two methods to spot fake jewelry for now which are magnet and nitric acid. I hope you have learnt something new so as not to fall prey to fake jewelry sellers.
