Leave Me Alone by Amaechi Emmanuel

    _*Leave me Alone*_

    Children of the night
Workers of iniquity exchanging pearls for hate. Agents of woes running errands for polluted kings
Tell it not on the hills of Ajalon, neither let the dwellers on mount Eglon hear of your sordid morass

Rambling thunderbolt of uncollected roses. Ruling their forebears with ranting rancour. Leave me alone in the kilth of Kong's palace.

Go to the roof top and inform your lords that the ordinary being is become a beast better blessed as the most bassett of men on earth, without shame.

Comfortless offspring. The pain of her who carried them for nine months. Miscarriage of goodwill. Souls whose lying and waking thoughts are evil continually. Wherewithal shall we appease you?

Leave me alone, you children of colourless indentation. Busy greasy thing plodding along the streets in odd hours, in search of that which belong not to them. Lane urchins whose makeup is broiled in evil, to pay the watchers in coins from the devil

Tendrils of pain. Suckers of vain glory. The anguish of the blessed womb. Regret of motherhood. Splinting relves of villainy toppled in misery loaves of beatitude. Leave me alone you sons of Belia

Leave me alone, for the sun is angry. The moon has withdrawn her smile and instructed the stars to cheer not the living. Our water is bitter and the Pope is veneer. This root is your beginning, for the day you were born, the chief priest racooned *a man has come*. But these children are a far cry from the heroes as the gods has refused to hoist them on the totem pole of sages.

Tell them to leave me a lone; for I will not atone for them, anymore!
