Make it Right again by Salma Suliaman (Poetry)

    Make it Right again

    By: Salma Suliaman

    Going over those moments
How we put up with one another has escape me,
Smiles that reflects behind the sun,
Compliments that we shy away from with secret appreciation,
Excuses we make to buy another of happiness,
How can we make it right again?

Promises which make words a never ending song,
Glimpse we catch in moments under fine clouds,
Not expecting anymore from each day,
Just the sight of us makes lonely sit in a corner,
Always on a table for two,
How do we make it right again?

Pictures of us rolling makes the clouds go on flames as the sun set
    What a beautiful sight,
Arms in arms it claims our confession of feelings in low voices,
As we watched with the wind rocking us side to side,
    A time worth holding still,
How will we make it right again.

What was the use of a mirror when my reflection can be found in two as in one
Encouragement pour on me through gentle words,
Patience dance around us when things don't go right,
Still the night remains young to the tone of our laughter,
Dawn takes over in our warm embrace,
We should make it right again.
