THE PRICE OF IGNORANCE By; Moses Adeyemi

                   THE PRICE OF IGNORANCE

    By; Moses Adeyemi

Often we hear information is key to a transformed life and ignorance comes at a huge cost. Here's an illustration to butress those points (you don't want to miss this):

Should a restaurant announce a promo day on that day customers will be allowed to make a one-off order of any food they want without paying a dime! The terms and condition is that a second request will be paid for, this means all choices of food must be made at first request if it will not be paid for.

    If we have two(2) customers - Mr.A and Mr.B

Mr. A fully aware of the promo, he comes in, orders for a combo of dessert, continental, local and chinese dishes (awuf they run belle), guess what, it's all pro bono, that is for free. This is what economist call maximum utility.

Mr. B not aware of the promo comes in, orders for his usual one plate of food. Bearing in mind  his financial state, he didn't even order for a drink. Mr B offers to pay after the meal and he is then informed of the promo.

Of course he made a second request but was informed of the terms and conditions.

    Here's what happened to Mr.B

    ∆ his choice was restricted

∆ he did not get maximum satisfaction

∆ He left with a scar of regret that would have affected the little satisfaction he had manage to get.

While Mr A on the hand was the man of the moment. What differentiate both men is "information".

Mr A probably didn't have a dime on him but he got far more value than Mr B.
You might think what is preventing you from starting a business is money, no might only need the right information. Dig deep, seek you will find it.

Having access to the right information not only saves you time but also save you money

What makes Bill gates who he is, is the information he possess. Same with Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg, etc. We are in a era where information floats like water. Get every information you can, which sometimes might be expensive to acquire.
